Massachusetts

Washington

At one time famous for their flannels, Washington really knows how to do a fabulous fall season! They call Seattle the Emerald City because of its year-round penchant for green, and it stays pretty temperate there even as fall unfurls. Visit the first-ever Starbucks for your caffeine fix, check out the famous Pike Place Market, and take a ferry to beautiful Bainbridge Island — all with a perfect view of magnificent Mount Rainier as a backdrop. Throughout the Evergreen State, you’re never too far from a fun day trip whether to a pumpkin patch, to an apple orchard, or for a fun fall hike. Gorgeous fall colors can be found on drives like the North Cascades Highway, Mount Rainier Loop, and Mount Baker Highway.

New Jersey

The rumors are true: The Boss’ home state is totally boss! The Garden State is great place for Travelers to adventure and explore. Jersey offers lots of beautiful nature, including 127 miles of coastline and 72 miles of the Appalachian Trail, a great jumping off point for exploring the East Coast, and it’s no surprise that there’s an abundance of great eats throughout “the diner capital of the world.” There’s also a ton of great museums and truly intriguing history to check out in Jersey. Arizona

The Grand Canyon State offers the best of both worlds when it comes to fall: the temps stay nice and warm, but you can still see lots of pretty fall leaves. The San Francisco Peaks are very well known for their abundance of gorgeous gold Aspens and an autumnal rainbow is on display at Phoenix’s Boyce Thompson Arboretum. North Carolina
